Booking

Terms & conditions.

1. Provider and scope. These terms govern photography services offered via www.studioshanov.com by Artekcraft Ltd. (trade name Shanov Studio), ul. Mayor Yuriy Gagarin 6B, bl. 65A, 1113 Sofia, Bulgaria, ЕИК 207583244, VAT BG207583244 ("the Photographer"), to consumers and businesses in the EU. 2. No contract via the website. This website does not conclude contracts. The inquiry form and its estimated total are non-binding and free of charge. A contract is concluded only when the Photographer sends a written offer (by email or e-signature) and you accept it in writing. No payment is due before that. 3. Prices. All prices shown are final prices in EUR, including VAT. Travel within 50 km of Sofia included; further travel and agreed add-ons are itemized in the offer. Website estimates are indicative; the offer states the binding price. 4. Booking, deposit, date reservation. Your date is reserved only upon (a) the signed contract and (b) receipt of a 30% deposit. The balance is due as stated in the offer. 5. Rescheduling and cancellation. One free rescheduling to a mutually agreed date within 12 months (subject to availability) if you notify us at least 14 days before the shoot. If you cancel: more than 90 days before the date, the deposit is retained; 90–30 days, 50% of the total is due; under 30 days, 80% - in each case minus expenses saved. The Photographer may cancel for serious cause (illness, force majeure); then all payments are refunded in full or, at your choice, a replacement date or a substitute photographer of comparable standard is arranged. Further claims only per clause 10. 6. Right of withdrawal (consumers). Distance contracts generally carry a 14-day withdrawal right. Exception: under Art. 57(12) of the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act (Art. 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU), no withdrawal right exists for leisure-related services with a specific date or period of performance - this covers shoots booked for a specific date (weddings, events, sessions). Where a withdrawal right applies, instruction and model form come with the offer; if you request performance before the period ends, you owe a proportionate amount for services rendered. 7. Your cooperation. You obtain permissions needed for the shoot (venue access, event permission) and inform participants that photography will take place. Delays caused by you do not extend the booked time. 8. Delivery. Images are delivered via a private, password-protected online gallery within the period stated for your package. Selection and editing are the Photographer's; RAW files are not part of the delivery. Images are delivered via a private download link, active for 30 days (weddings additionally on a USB stick). Selection and editing are the Photographer's; RAW files are not part of the delivery.   9. Copyright and usage rights. All images remain the Photographer's copyright (Bulgarian Copyright Act). Upon full payment you receive: for private bookings, a non-exclusive license for personal, non-commercial use including social media; for commercial bookings, the license described in the offer. Edits beyond cropping (filters, AI alterations) and resale require written consent. Portfolio use of your images happens only with your separate written consent - optional, revocable anytime, never a condition of the contract. 10. Liability. Unlimited liability for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body or health. For simple negligence, liability only for breach of essential contractual duties, limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damage, capped at the booking total. Mandatory statutory liability unaffected. In the event of complete loss of images before delivery, liability is limited to a full refund or, at your choice and where feasible, a free re-shoot. 11. Law and disputes. Bulgarian law applies. For consumers, the mandatory protections of your country of habitual residence remain unaffected, and you may bring claims before that country's courts. We are willing to participate in ADR before the Conciliation Commission at the Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection. Last updated: 11 July 2026
