A quiet practice, twelve years in.

Shanov Studio began in 2011 out of a small apartment kitchen and a stubborn love for film. Today it's a two-room studio, a shelf of well-worn cameras, and a growing archive of the people who've trusted us with their most quiet, most vivid moments.

We work slowly, on purpose. Each project starts with a call, unhurried, and ends with a gallery you'll want to open more than once. Between those two points is the work itself — patient, prepared, and a little in love with the light.

Our clients include newlyweds, families, editorial magazines, and brands who care about the difference between a photograph and an image.
